General
Usually, Aurora is a kind hearted person, shes very selfless and almost always has a smile on. She is one of those people that you cant help but just like or just want to know. Usually she has a positive attitude and thinks things through before acting (There are acceptions of course..). All in all, she has a very bubbily personality. She's pretty intelligent for the most part like any other girl she over looks things at times sometimes finding meanings behind things that arent suppose to be there in the first place. Aurora is a bit of a perfectionist, is something isnt done right, she'd start all over again to make sure that its done correctly (Mainly when it comes to putting things away at home and stuff like that).

The acceptions
Yes, usually Aurora is a very up-beat sort of person but she does have her down times and her iffy moment. Aurora can get a bit over protective over the people she cares about, often times acts like an over protective mother.
She very rarely gets angry, when she does she blows up, from an anger scale from 1-10, when she does get angry its usually a 8-10. But her anger blasts dont really last too long, once she gets all her anger out she'll be back to her happy-go-lucky self.

Gintō are small silver cylinder capsules that store spiritual energy in a liquid form, and are used by Quincy for spell-casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.[7]

HirenkyakuMain article: Hirenkyaku
Hirenkyaku is analogous to the Shinigami Flash Steps or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to Uryū Ishida it is faster than flash steps, though Mayuri Kurotsuchi's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Mayuri compliments Uryū on being able to use this technique at such a young age, suggesting that it is difficult to master.



Reiryoku Absorption & Manipulation: A Quincy primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with his own spiritual energy to form weapons.[2] They have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. They can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes. Quincy most commonly reshapes spiritual particles into various types of bow and arrows, but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of swords (Seele Schneider) or Gintō.


Quincy Bow & Spirit Arrows: All Quincies have the ability to create a unique spirit bow, and subsequently generate spirit arrows for the bow, using a Quincy cross or pentacle. The bow and arrows are both made up completely of reiryoku from the users surroundings, and last as long as the wielder's stamina and reiryoku reserves allow.
Spiritual Awareness: As a Qunicy, they can sense Hollows or other spiritual beings at a significant distance or tell in what direction they are in.

Items:

Hollow bait — This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts hollows when crushed.[12] When used by Uryū, the bait, in combination with Ichigo's powerful spiritual pressure, was able to draw a Gillian-class Menos out of Hueco Mundo.


Quincy Bangle (装身具, sōshingu; lit. "Accessory"): Introduced in the anime's Bount arc, the Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles.


Quincy cross (滅却十字, mekkyaku jūji; lit. "Destruction Cross")[13]: Standard equipment for any Quincy, the Quincy Cross acts as the focus for a Quincy bow. The cross need not necessarily be in a cross shape, as Ryūken's cross is a pentacle.


Sanrei Glove (散霊手套, sanrei shutō): A powerful Quincy artifact that can increase a Quincy's power exponentially, but requires a dangerous and exhausting type of resistance training (wearing it for a week while constantly firing spiritual arrows) to master. The glove works by scattering the spirit particles in the surrounding area, making it much harder to form a working bow. If a Quincy can summon a bow and use it for the required amount of time, they will have undergone a massive increase in power. When removed, however, the glove will release the user's energy all at once - first transforming them into a being of tremendous strength, the Quincy Final Form, and then forcing their Quincy powers to gutter out completely.


Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの (ゼーレシュナイダー), Zēreshunaidā; German for "Soul Cutter", Japanese for "That Which Slits the Soul"): The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. Uryū also stated that using it increased his spiritual power. [14] The Seele Schneiders Uryū uses are stolen from a secret storage room under Karakura hospital.
Silver tubes (銀筒, Gintō): Silver tubes are small liquid-filled capsules that store spiritual energy, and are used by Quincy for spellcasting in the same way that Shinigami use kidō. Like kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.[15]


Soul-synthesized silver (霊化銀, reika gin): Soul-synthesized silver was used by Ryūken Ishida to construct the hidden chamber in which Uryū trains.[16]
Soul-synthesized glass (霊化硝子, reika gurasu): Like soul-synthesized silver, soul-synthesized glass was used to construct the hidden chamber in the Karakura Hospital.[16]

Background

History:

Aurora was braught up in a very loving house hold.
Her parents died when she was only three so she lived with her grandparents. She was an only child and got a lot of attention but she wasnt spoiled, she was taught to always care for others and appreciate the smaller things in life. Her grandparents taught her to see the beauty in the most strangest places (Bitchy people:P ). They also told her she had a lot of beauty in her, they told her that when the time came, she will see just how special she was. When Aurora turned ten, she started seeing things, people in samuri outfits walking around with swords...and no one else seemed to see them, she started seeing ghosts and sencing things she couldnt explain.

She told her grandparents about these events and they explained to her that she is a Quincy; they explained the Quincy history and also explained that their family went into hiding for quite some time. Though her grandparents were quite old and couldnt move as well as the youth, they still began to teach her the basics. They started her off with archery, Aurora fell in love with archery and took it up as a hobby. She'd even practice archary when she was on her spare time. Once she mastered still targets, her grandparents had her work on moving targets and because of her love for the sport, she mastered that pretty quickly. She pretty much always hit her mark (9.9/10) she even joined her archery team in school and lead them to victory in competitions.

It didnt take long before her grandparents taught her about all the items that Quincys used, she really didnt care too much for them, she was too much 'in love' with archery; but never the less, she learned about them and how to use them. Eventually as a test, her grand parents sent her off to do some hollow hunting, they of corse went with her just in case and to judge her. She passed their test and now they send her off on regular hollow hunting missions.
