ARRANCAR

Name: Real name: Etsuko (Meaning: "child of joy") Eiji (Meaning: "eternity order")
Alias: Justice Junko (Meaning: Geniuine & pure child)

Age: 430

Gender: Female

Orientation: Novena 8th

Appearance:

Personality: Etsuko is a generally shy person, but not one to scare easily despite her very frail appearance. No one ever sees her eyes anymore, not since she found her new form because she feels they are tainted with the scene of her mothers death, and hates opening her 'windows' to anyone. So, she 'curtains' her 'windows' with her blindfold so no one can see and to protect her from seeing it, though, she can see through it. She will often mak how she is feeling to match her face and doesn't open up to anyone, it would take a very special case with her. A few thing you should never bring up with Etsuko is her parents or parents in general as it is a very touchy subject and will often throw into a large depression. Other things you should be careful of is balancing your actions. If Etsuko feels you are overpowering, belittling, or injusticing someone, she will step in and take action one way or another.

Abilities: Gran Rey Cero (王虚の閃光 (グラン・レイ・セロ), guran rei sero; Spanish for "Grand King Zero", Japanese for "Royal Hollow Flash") is a Cero that only Espada are capable of using. It is performed by mixing an Espada's own blood with the Cero. The result is a Cero with a much greater attack power and speed as well as a change of color unique to the Espada. It is also many times more powerful than a normal Cero, capable of disturbing the fabric of space, it also seems to spin like a razor upon release as it compresses and decompresses due to the sheer speed and raw power. It is a drastically potent Cero, used only by the Espada themselves.

Sealed Zanpakutô: Her sealed Zan is simply her scales. However, after her release phrase is said; it turns into her sword she is holding in the picture above.

Release: Balance this act, and feel it heal and punish! ¡Previals de la justicia!

Resurrección: Very much like Etsuko herself, her ressureccion is quite unique. After saying her phrase, a sword and a set of scales appear in her hand. Her symbol scales have an important purpose, as does her sword (but moreso the scales take the spotlight). When in battle, or when spotting an injustice, Etsuko will use her sword and cut the person with the blade and let the blood drip onto her scale on one side. With the opposite side, she will then cut herself and do the same on the other side of the scale. Slowly, the scale will glow grey and even themselves out. At this point, the person and Etsuko will be even power wise, and the battle will be very even on both ends; justifying the fight. However, the more blood she gets, the stronger this effect will be, and may end badly if one side is inbalanced with too much blood; depending on which side is more or less. The only tricky part: Getting the blood.

History: Etsuko had one of the worst childhood's known to man, even worse, a cliche one at that. She lived her life in absolute fear of her parents and society. Her father was an alcoholic and did drugs occaisionally and often abused her mother. Etsuko would stand in horror and watch sometimes as he called her names and said horrible things while hitting her. The next morning, and even during all of this, all she did was say it was alright. Etsuko often asked her how she could take that, and her mother said because she loved him no matter how imperfect he was. She knew that deep down that he loved her too, he just hid it to protect her. Etsuko swore she would never understand this theory and always saw it as an injustice. She hated what her father would do to her mother and wanted him to stop. Of course, he never listened to her and went on with his 'life style choice'.

When Etsuko grew up, she was rather intelligent for her age and knew terms and things most wouldn't at 10. She wrote a lot and loved making new stories with her mom who also loved to write. Sometimes when her father was either too drunk to move or out with his friends, Etsuko and her mother would share and make their stories. Etsuko began to get really good, her mother's opinion meant everything to her because she was so smart and poetic in her writing. Her mother was good enough to be an author but never did make a career out of it because she felt most authors were crazy and felt she need not be more 'absent minded' than she already was. That always made Etsuko laugh. She wondered how real authors were, besides rich and famous... She just was not sure about their personality aside from what she got from their writing told her.

One day, when Etsuko was about 14, her and her mother were reading each other their stories when her father had came home early very drunk, as usual. Etsuko thought nothing of this and asked her mom if they could keep going. Her mother was very hesitant, but hated refusing her, so went along with it only hoping her father would not intervine. Things were going fine, much to Etsuko's surprise. It made her happy to know her father was not anywhere near them to ruin their time. The little time her mom and Etsuko got to spend with each other without having to worry about her father. Etsuko all of a sudden got thirsty and went to go get something to drink. That is when it all happened. Etsuko returned and her dad was screaming and pushing around her mother while she was cooing in his ear to calm down. As usual, he did not listen and continued screaming and pushing for no real reason. Out of nowhere, he reared back his fist and punched her mom right square in the jaw. Etsuko gasped and dropped her glass, where it smashed. She jumped over the mess and ran to her moms aid, but was pushed back onto her rear on the floor by her raging father. Etsuko had to watch in complete terror as he slowly wrapped his large hands around her frail neck. Her mother changed colors and struggled with a pleading look that Etsuko would never forget. She remembers that night perfectly and vividly - the night her father murdered his mother. After the night, the painfully sleepless night (for Etsuko, anyway), her father awoke and figured out what he had done. In complete panic, he left and never came back, leaving Etsuko on her own. Luckily enough for her, she knew how to survive on her own - her mother had prepared her well enough to take on anything.

From that day on, Etsuko collected her book she shared with her mom and some few other belongings and some food in a small bookbag and went out on her own. She slept very little and was tortured with every excruciating detail of the night of her mothers murder. he had always injusticed her, and now, even after his death that HE was responsible for... He continued to injustice her by not even owning up to it and respecting her. Her mother said he loved her deep down... But was it just guilt that drove him away, or love? Eri was haunted with that as well and got very emotional usually when parents were ever brought up. She lived for years in the forest in a cave that she found when she ranaway from home. The papers and news had said her father had taken her hostage when he ranaway with no traces of either of them. Eri wanted to remain going to school, but for fear of being removed and put into a different home, a home that was not hers drove her away from school. She knew enought to survive, and was actually very smart for only being (now) 17. Etsuko was sick of all the injustices in the world, and she wanted it changed. No one cares about others but themselves, and those who do show any form of support are only doing it because they are obigated. Any others it was because of a strong bond they had that Etsuko missed... Etsuko missed her mother more than anything.

One night, on her 18th birthday, Etsuko awoke to the sound of gunshots. She ran out of her cave and found hunters killing the animals she enjoyed seeing all the time. Etsuko ran out in the forest and waved her arms so the men could see her. Thinking she was an animal, they shot instinctively, and Etsuko went down with the impact. One of the hunters had bad eyes (the one who shot) and could not see too far away and assumed he missed and they went on, leaving Etsuko alone with a bullet hole in her chest. It was all over for Etsuko as her blood poured out onto the ground and her eyes staring blankly up at the starry night sky. She was cold and shivered. With this movement she blinked in confusion. She was dead. The bullet hit her straight in the chest. But... She was thinking right now, she could move. Etsuko sat up and gazed at herself with her eyes wide. She had no idea what was going on and she tried, on several occaisions to kill herself but never could. From that moment she knew that she could fix all the injustices in the world. And without consequence, or... Much.
